Before your first paid call
How much does GoCall cost?
GoCall costs $0/month and charges 10% of the final billed amount, capped at $25 per completed call. Stripe processing is deducted separately from the host's payout.
When does the guest get charged?
For hourly calls, Stripe may place a temporary hold when billing starts. The final charge is based on billed minutes. For fixed-price calls, the full agreed price is charged when the host starts the call. If the host never starts it, the guest is not charged.
Does the guest need to create an account?
No. They open the link, see the host and rate or fixed price, save a card through Stripe, and join. No app, install, or GoCall login is required.
Who handles refunds and disputes?
The host handles them in Stripe. Direct charges make the host's Stripe account the merchant of record; GoCall never holds host funds or guest payment records.
Where is the pilot available?
Pilot hosts must be based in the US or Canada and connect an eligible Stripe account. US hosts charge in USD; Canadian hosts charge in CAD.
