Hourly or fixed-price

Hourly vs Fixed-Price Paid Calls

·

Every GoCall link is one of two kinds. Both use the same private link and the same rule: nothing is charged until you tap Start.

Hourly

Pick hourly when you do not know how long the call will run. Start begins billed time; you can stop and restart it during the call. Stripe may place a temporary hold on the card when billing starts, and the final charge is the minutes you billed. A 22-minute call at $300/hr ends at $110.

Fixed-price

Pick fixed-price when the call is a package: a portfolio review, an audit walkthrough, a mock interview. The guest agrees to one amount and that amount is captured at Start. No per-minute overage. A $150 call is $150.

What the guest sees

The rate or the price is on the link before card entry, so there is no surprise at the end. Saving the card does not charge it.

Cost

Same for both: $0/month, 10% of the billed amount capped at $25 per call, Stripe processing separate. Details in how to charge for a consulting call and how the money flows.
